Colleague Fundamental Training
Synopsis
Colleague Fundamentals may be taken by staff, however in order to gain access to Colleague, a Maestro Request - Colleague/Recruit Access EForm is required.Course Overview
In this session we will introduce you to accessing the Colleague User Interface and how to utilize the interface for all Colleague modules. The training should take approximately 60 minutes.
The ERP system is made up of five applications:
ST - Student: includes academic records, accounts receivable, cash receipts, curriculum management, degree audit, financial aid, registration, residence life, etc.
HR - Human Resources: includes payroll, position summary, employee and labor relations, etc.
CF - Colleague Finance: includes accounts payable, budget management, general ledger, fixed assets, purchasing, project accounting, physical plant, inventory, etc.
Core - Core: includes person demographics, communications management, organization information, facilities profile, etc.
UT - Utilities: includes system administrator, system designer, account management, system file administration, workflow management, etc.
By the end of this training you should be able to use and fill out screens in Colleague, search for information and understand how to navigate the UI software.
This training provides instruction for first time users navigating within Colleague UI. This course will remain on your LEARN while you are an employee, so you can always return to it if you need a refresher.
At the end of this training there will be a short quiz. It is recommended to have a minimum 70% grade. This training and quiz may be taken more than once.
Before you Start:
- In order to use Colleague your supervisor must submit a Maestro Resource Request - Colleague/Recruit Access EForm
- Prior to gaining access you must complete this Colleague Foundational training session and subsequent (role-specific) training.

- The information contained in the ERP system is to be treated as confidential. It is important that you become familiar with policies: IT1 - Acceptable Use of Information Technology Resources, IT2 - Security of Information Technology Resources and and G3 - Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy
